My pen to paper idea's are gin to be as many as my on screen layout plans at this rate. I have gone back to a brighter background as I feel that it makes the overall mural a lot more vibrant and is more attention grabbing. The blue was quite dense i could have used a lighter blue, but for the mural I feel this colour works better. I took away some of the hearts and I felt that they were cluttering the mural and wern't really leaving room for the type and the image of the kissing people i am much happier with this layout!
On of my initial thoughts for this project was to use polaroids in my work. I really had my heart set on it and then came away from the idea after I 'd developed my illustrations but after scanning on in and working it into my mural I really feel like it makes my mural really stand out and is so fitting being behind the kissing people. The fact that it's not drawn like everything else on the mural makes it look a lot more quirky and edgier then if it was drawn. I love this use of mix media. I really feel like my mural is beginning to come together now after a lot of debating and thought!
