This piece of work is by Los Angeles based artist Douglas Alves. What I enjoy about thais piece is the is the mix up up of illustration, type and photography. I think it's mix media content makes it a a more interesting and aesthetically pleasing piece as well as getting across the point of a certain emotion in this case that along the lines of 'fear and panic. Again I feel the placement of the different elements that make this work, makes it more appealing to look at. The way in which the photo,drawings and type are all layered on top of each other.I think that I would like to use an illustrative technique to create some typography for my mural.
