I feel like I have been evaluating my work at every stage of the project,I am happy with my outcomes and feel that I have answered the brief well. I did my research and really got into finding out what was relevant in design and the target audience.I feel that I have created quirky and interesting design work that will fit the Yo! sushi brand values and appeal to there 18-25 target audience.
I really feel like I had a good understanding of what this brief was about and once I was happy enough with my idea I got really stuck into it, and enjoyed it. I feel like I put a lot of my own personality and technique into the work. The thing I have learned from this project is that I need to manage my time better. I spent a lot of time on my mural but at the same time, I don't think i could have achieved what I wanted in the other parts off the brief till it was complete.
For this project I wanted my work to be something exciting so stayed clear of just making my work up of things that had been copied and pasted or just making the mural up of things that were in the chosen city. I picked a strong theme from my top of the mind branding which was representing Paris to be the city of love and Romance and worked around that to create strong imagery within the design work. I also kept the look of the branding consistent, all the branding for the project has a uniformed look throughout.
a better response to typography and illus would have resulted in a more resolved final piece?
